 Info: The Second Degree BS in Nursing Program is designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree in another discipline. This second degree program is fast-paced and intense, they require students to provide complete attention to the rigor and requirements for successful completion. This program is offered on both Newark and New 

Brunswick campuses.

Duration: 14 Months.

Tuition: Estimated at $30,000 for NJ residents. $50,000 for non-residents. 

Info: The Accelerated 2nd Degree BSN Program at Thomas Edison State University in New Jersey is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program designed for adults who have earned a bachelor's degree (non-nursing) completed prior to acceptance and who are interested in becoming registered nurses. This is an intense, full-time program that prepares graduates for the National Council Licensure Exam for RNs (NCLEX). Due to the rigorous nature of this full-time program, outside employment is strongly discouraged. 

Duration: 12 Months.

Info:  An online/campus hybrid ABSN in Parsippany or an on-campus ABSN in Rutherford. Offering multiple starts a year, this programs lets you start working toward a nursing career sooner. Framed within the Franciscan values of caring for those in need, positive transformation, compassion, and respect for human dignity, you will graduate ready to face the challenges of a changing health care system, and to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). 

Duration: 16-19 Months.

Extra: The Hybrid ABSN has a large online component, great for those who are travel restricted.

Info:   After completing study, the student receives a BSN and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. The program consists of 50 or 52 credits in the nursing major that includes an opportunity to take a 3-credit undergraduate or graduate nursing elective course. The graduate course would be double-counted for the MS degree, should you continue into an LSN graduate program. 

Duration: 1-2 years.

It is completed in four consecutive semesters of full-time study and can begin in the fall (September) or spring (January) semester. Info:  Each student accepted into the program completes five semesters of required academic courses and a minimum of six months of supervised fieldwork in an approved clinical setting. Clinical fieldwork must be completed within 24 months of academic courses. Students successfully completing the program will be eligible to take the national certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT). After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be able to identify him or herself as an Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR).
